(PRAY IT FORWARD)
Dear God, if I pray hard, can I quit my day job?
get a better one with a raise, get paid
get a lady who could make it feel like a sunny Sunday on a mundane Monday
Dear God, if I pray hard, can I stay long enough on this earth to know the purpose of my birth
and what it's worth, whether it's a blessing or a curse that I even know the words to this verse
Dear God, if I jump into this pond, can i swim? how long can I hold my breath for?
And if I sink, land, walking on the ocean floor, will I realize then this is what you made me for?
To be the man who disregards all these oxygen laws,
its down bottom where the tops will come off
We'll stay rockin till the socks and the stockings come off,
It's time to let the world in, so I wont need no locks on my doors
It's like crime is at an all time high, but not statistically,
Realistically I’d rather be broke than live meticulously
Possessed by possessions, I’m guessing that I’m just stressing,
And restless it’s too much tension, dispensing in my direction,
No focus, it’s bogus, hocus pocus magic and tragic but magic like Magic with Aids but his baby and wifey didn’t have it,
No negatives, Damn it, these pictures are panoramically positive
Take a shot of it, Take it up to the colleges
Cutting class and acknowledging knowledge needs no apologies
Wallets are getting thicker but what about ideologies?
What could possibly be the outcome of chasing this income?
We living, breathing, but leaving the thinking to politicians?
Educated then immigrated, waited for invitations, landed in JFK after he was assassinated
Thinking with visions of Lincoln, but I’m John Wilkes in the Booth, a sharp tongue with a loose tooth
I’m back, hit me it’s black jack, flyin off the meat rack... (Pray it Forward)
